What a way to kick off the week, am I right?!? Old vines from the rolled pebbles and sun-drenched terroir of one of the world’s classic wine regions. 55% grenache, 25% syrah, 15% mourvedre, and the rest cinsault – somersaulting across the palate with spiced plums, cherry and kirsch, savory, smoky meatiness – all interspersed with candied violets, cinnamon, roasted herbs de provence… just pure, luscious pleasure, y’all! This is heady, soul-warming, body-moving, Beastie-Boys-approved goodness! 2018 vintage… even better still. I’ve happily paid the $75 retail for this wine… it’s even a great value at the $120 price you often see in restaurants…but at this price?!?! MONUMENTOUS! World-breaking deal, truly. When Dunnuck said this wine was “certainly worthy of a case purchase” he was talking about FULL RETAIL!!! How many do you think he’d recommend buying at a whopping 57% OFF???
