Chimney Rock Elevage Blanc Estate Napa Valley 2016

Well, I declare, this is pretty with a capital “T”! Complex, textured and beautifully layered estate-grown Napa Valley white wine for a staggering $30 LESS than the winery’s own price? Why, yes, please…fill up my glass and go ahead and leave the bottle, won’t ya?!?! 

$19?!? I say, I say, that just can’t be! This creamy and floral white wine is one of those rare California whites that seems to get even better with age...which we’ve already taken care of just for you! Perfectly integrated, with plenty of zip and a gloriously warm feeling – like a kiss on the cheek from your high school crush. I’m BLUSHING! 

There’s something about this sauvignon gris and sauvignon blanc fusion that is so PREPOSTEROUSLY GENTEEL! One sip and I’m pulling out my seersucker and white linens, rocking up a storm on my front porch and squawking “Yep” about the weather. Luxuriously full of honeydew melon, white peach, cantaloupe, lemon meringue, and baked pear tart – the wine coats itself in luscious opulence, yet maintains a persistent brightness and length that showcases the best of the Bordelaise-style in the warm, Napa climate. As my Southern wife would say, “This is slap yo’ mamma good!” Did I mention it is only NINETEEN DOLLARS? That price is wilder than a peach orchard boar, y’all!!

Not much to be had, but trust me, this is sure to charm the pants off a preacher!
