Champagne Antoine Derigny Brut Grand Cru NV

Preach, Brother Winston...preach (still mad at you for the whole Black & Tans nonsense, though). Anywho...GRAND CRU CHAMPAGNE – under $30!!! Antoine Derigny, good people! That’s really all I have to say...GO!

OK, perhaps just a weeee bit more...but not a ton to go around, so pretty please...read QUICKLY and act fast! This absolutely titillating bottle of EPIC bubbly goodness is crafted by the Bernard Remy Champagne estate, with Bernard’s son, Rudy, steering the course of these wines since 2008. The grapes – 100% chardonnay – are mostly coming from long-held parcels in my all-time favorite Champagne vineyard – the one and only LE MESNIL! Other choice GRAND CRU parcels from Montagne de Reims make up the rest – and how they source fruit like that...and with us offering the wine at a price like this...it truly befuddles the brain! Brut Blanc de Blancs with that sort of pedigree almost never come in under $30...but not today! 

Cooling, rich, and skin-tingling, this is chockablock with toasty and citrusy luminosity, a veritable breadbasket of titillating flavors that range from sweet dough, toasty croissant, butter cookie, candied lemon, crisp Asian pear, ginger, and lemon oil extract...beautifully fresh, pure, and immensely satisfying. 8 grams dosage makes this a Brut, but all that weight and texture is kept fresh and minerally throughout...thank you, LE MESNIL! YOWZA! We only wish we had more! Grand Cru CHAMPAGNE! At this price?!? Do yourself a solid and grab as much of this as you can!
