Super-limited in this KILLER 2021 vintage!!! You’ve been asking, we’ve been pacing...and now, we are finally ready to unleash it...won’t last long! Same price for years and years...take that inflation!!!

Savvy Last Bottle clients who've been around the block with us a few times will know this brand (it's ours since the debut in 2005), but if you are new to it – give us 39 seconds to explain why you NEED and WANT this gorgeous bottle of wine in your cellar, ASAP! Insanely good considering the pedigree here! We go on a bit, but trust us – it’s worth it! As you know by now, we are longtime Napa Valley locals. We might not be able to get you red carpet access to the Oscars, but if you’re looking to get in with the best winemakers, grape growers, and vintners in Napa...there’s a good chance we grew up with them (or schooled with them, delivered their pizzas, or shared a moment over a killer bottle at a post-harvest throwdown...). Now and then one of them will call and offer us a bit of "extra" wine – which we bottle under our exclusive label Sleeper (def: an unexpected success). Often, as is the case today, the source of these wines (which are protected like nuclear launch codes under reams of non-disclosure agreements) are very high-end wineries that sell the same wines for MUCH MUCH more!! You know these brands, you’ve paid top dollar for these vineyards, you’ve bragged about these winemakers (no shame...we have too!). Ok, that's the quick skinny. Now, on to this SPLENDIFEROUS iteration of the sure-to-be legendary Sleeper Reserve SB 2021...

2021 is another BANNER vintage for Napa – drought conditions meant low yields, small berries concentrated with flavor and intensity – and our source for this just killed it – AGAIN (they always do, man, we just wish we could tell ya...). Anywho, stylish, pure, refined, razor-sharp, and somehow even a little creamy or lanolin-like in your mouth. Just a whisper of new French oak, which rounds it a bit and adds a bit of sexiness, but mostly this Sleeper is all about grapefruit, yuzu, a dash of lemongrass and pineapple, sweet lime, Buddha's hand. Yuzu. Meyer. Key lime. Sour Patch Kids. I love it. Let’s not get going on the kiwi, lemongrass, or green mango notes, either. What I’m getting at is our Sleeper Reserve hits ALL the buttons. We devoured the bottle in minutes this morning when it was just over 40 degrees outside...can you imagine in the spring or summer?!?! Point is, you’re gonna love it. This spent 18 months in used top-quality French oak, so it has a lovely roundness to complement the zestiness! So stinkin’ GOOD!! Drink it with everything. Not as much to go around this year, but maybe one of the best...EVER!
