WE. GOT. MORE. Gads, finally!! Yes, yes, after literally MONTHS of cajoling and yakking and schmoozing over expensive lunches…we got more Cabby. This is literally one of the most-re-requested Napa cabernet steals EVER here at Last Bottle Galaxy Headquarters, for good reason – it’s a sensational Julien Fayard wine from a great vintage that just….CRUSHES it.

So, despite this, shall we say, “casual” label, there is a LOT to know and a lot to love if you’re new to this ambrosial gift, and we promise, when this hits your tongue you are going to think (quietly, inside your head) “GADS, I should have bought more of this!” (and we know you thought that last time).

BOOM! This shockingly concentrated, deep cab is, again, from JULIEN FAYARD (yes, Google him and all his crazy-cool wines over the years, even back from his days as Philippe Melka’s assistant…) and the team behind high-scoring, much-collected (read: $125-ish) wines from BEAU VIGNE. Originally “Cabby” was made as a special bottling for the state of Ohio back in the day (why is Ohio so special?), and it became so rip-roaringly popular, the winery started making small lots of it full time. It’s declassified juice from the $100-$200+ bottlings from the winery, and it’s a taste-bud rocking value at $50. At our price??? It’s an OUTRAGEOUS value -- overdelivering is putting it mildly. Cassis, cloves, sweet tobacco, a fine texture and terrifyingly easy to empty...

Being local here in Napa is important- we’d probably never get our hands on a deal like this otherwise (oh, did we mention this is the superb 2018 vintage to boot?). SO -- people, HAVE at it!! We all got our six packs!
