Nellcote Cabernet Sauvignon Rallye 76 Napa Valley 2015 - Last Bottle

Nellcote Cabernet Sauvignon Rallye 76 Napa Valley 2015

Zing! Stop, drop, pop, rock and roll into the Cabernet brain-curdler we have today, an EPIC deal on a hyper-luxurious Napa Cabernet, a wine that hits EVERY sweet spot your body and wallet has, a 45-pound bottle (really, the glass on this is crazy) of manliness, hedonism and outrageous value. (Read that all in one breath...) You saw that price, right?? ‘Nuff said!

BOOM! Go! We have, like, a miniscule amount, a pittance, a drop or so. ROLLING STONES. Legendary band, of course, and vaguely connected to this wine. How? Nellcote is the villa where they recorded the all-time-classic-great “Exile on Main Street” album, in St. Jean-Cap  Ferrat in the South of France. Proprietor Tyler Olbres lived 2 houses down from this villa, and his family has a rich history of luxury car design and racing in the region (Monaco!), thus the racing names of the wines themselves. THAT’S how we roll into this Ferrari-like “Rallye 76.” Tyler started making luxury-level Cabernet in the Napa Valley some years back with another rockstar, Philip Titus. YEAH! That one! Chappellet, Titus, COHO, and a SLEW, a wheelbarrow full of 95-100 point scores. This wine is….$225!!! Or is it?

** Sorry, this is a loooong story. We haven’t even gotten to the time Keith Richards and Tyler walked into a bar...oh, forget it. Did you get some? ***

Aged 22 months in French oak, this is sexy stuff, and NOT for the shy. Sourced from some of the most exclusive vineyards in Napa, including Beckstoffer, Broken Rock Ranch (Stags Leap), Hirondelle Estate (Stag’s Leap) and more, and made in hyper-small quantities. Well, we did what we do and made YOU, you lovely, lovely person, a deal that will not soon be forgotten. TALK ABOUT PLUSH! My goodness, this is like sliding into a huge warm candlelit tub at the Four Seasons Paris after a night of partying with Mick Jagger. Silky, concentrated, lavishly rich and mouthcoating, packed with cocoa bean, espresso, blue fruits for days, clove and cola, incredibly long and polished, too. Just EVERYTHING you know and love (if that’s your jam) about “modern”, plush Napa Cab, period. It TASTES like $200, easy!!!
