Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Napa Valley 2015 (Magnum 1.5L)

OH OH HO it is ON like Donkey Kong now!! Second to last mind-melting offer!! But first…

2020, you demented, twisted beast. Everything went backasswards, we don’t need to tell you. We were in Avignon, France (near Chateauneuf). We’d been there for literally 36 hours, straight from the Paris airport to the Rhone, dinner that night (see pic, with our awesome friends at Poulvarel), touring/tasting all the next day in Gigondas and whatnot, eating until 1am, and an hour later...the call. GET. HOME. NOW. Chaos ensued and we all know the rest. Like everyone selling anything online, things went bats in the belfry nutso, shipping nightmares and all the rest. We discovered Zoom tasting though, real quick! We leased another warehouse down the street as the crew was about to poison us in our sleep if we didn't. We went with our amazing wives to Vancouver in the dead of winter (before the travel ban) to drink vodka in spacesuits (? see pic). Then, of course, more fire. LOTS more. What a year. And the dang turkey flock just got bigger and kept pecking at the windows...

WINE #10! Pow pow pew pew pew -- BERINGER PR MAGS!! 99 POINTS -- dudes, all y’all, seriously, we are not kidding, just move as lightning quick as your god-given talent will allow!!

We sold the ‘15 (and ‘16) of this in the past, but we sneakily kept some of the large formats for THIS DAY. So, uh...99 points. Just a few. 2015 is a BIG vintage, with powerful wines and great candidates for long aging. All that said, as always this wine is SEXY, round and finely textured, generously hedonistic and polished!! What else can we say, this speaks for itself!! Go go go!!
