This lip-smacking, powerful, but amazingly fresh and minerally red from the fine folks at Balboa in Walla Walla, WA is loaded with perfumey plums, dried cherries, backed up with black currant fruit, toasted herbs, Asian spices and a bit of white pepper. Big but not overly heavy with fine structure and crushed-rock notes. You saw that price, right?? WAY over 50% OFF! Balboa is a cool little project hailing from the “Rocks District” of Milton Freewater at the WA/OR border. Totally new discovery for us and good thing we found it, ay? The last one we sold was gone in hours...
