Well, we here at Last Bottle World Headquarters taste it, freak out, and try to get every bottle we can!! BEST price by a mile in the USA on a wine rarely seen outside of restaurants!
Anyway, can you say deep, rich, black cherry and red currant basket, with rich earth, spice and beautiful layers? That’s what’s happening here, with very cool, spicy secondary notes of pepper and cigar box, clove and earth...very complex for a wine priced like we have it and a JOY, pure, unfiltered JOY to drink! 45% Carignane (100+ years old!), 19% Syrah, 36% Grenache, and tastes like something much pricier --- trust your besotted Napa wine merchant!! Utterly perfect right now, tonight, immediately, and so soft and supple-y drinkable as to put a bit of fear into you. In the BEST way!! So good --- the only bummer is, as you might imagine, these guys didn’t make a lot!
