BINDI IS BACK, baby, and we are about to go OFF!! Put two cases in MY car on the way out!! 2015 vintage, 92 POINTS, classic, Tuscany brilliance!


A longtime client favorite, the Bindi Sergardi family is LITERALLY royalty in this part of Tuscany, dating back to the mid-1300s when the family led an army that defeated the Aretines and were installed as governors of the Republic. As they have for 600+ years, they continue to farm grapes, olives, and animals on their landholdings. VERY cool story here for history buffs, check it out when you have time (after pouring a big glass of this and putting the pasta on to boil).


The La Ghirlanda bottling (still hard to believe the price...) comes from a particular vineyard northeast of Siena. It’s very much in the style you know and love --- aromatic with flowers, roses, incense and cherries, vibrant and percolating all manner of Tuscan red-fruit freshness. Just classic Sangiovese goodness ---- insanely great at our price. 92 POINTS, but tastes like 95 to us! Will go mighty fast....we never get enough of Bindi, baby!



2015 brought excellent, warm growing conditions to the region resulting in gorgeous wines. Bindi maintained wonderful freshness despite the heat. Chianti remains one of the best values in the entire world of wine, the quality to price ratio is off-the-charts!

About The Producer

Bindi Sergardi's origins can be dated back to 1349. Gentlemen, Nobles full of valor, great agriculturists, captains, and bishops, for 23 generations the family has been dedicated to wine making in Siena.

Over the centuries, family members have always continued to invest and dedicate their energies in the cultivation of vines and arable land. Nicolò, 22nd generation of the family and grandson of Elisabetta Bindi Sergardi, has believed strongly in scientific research of new vine clones and in the identification of vacated soils to enlarge and improve the historic patrimony of the family. Today, Nicolò's daughter, Alessandra, runs the estates of the family. Thanks to her tenacity and courage choices the winery experiences new cellar concepts at the service of quality with a production that is entwined with the authenticity and integrity of its territory.
