We think it is IMPERATIVE to have this around for regular sippin’, and even more so for the upcoming holidays (pesky, thirsty relatives), this new release of CYGNUS Reserva completely took us off guard. It’s terrifically SERIOUS stuff, at a massively unserious price (that’s what we DO here!!). The 91+ point review pretty much nails it…”excellent depth and complexity in its aromatic constellation of breadfruit, sea salts, white soil tones, dried flowers and a nice touch of menthol…” While you are Googling breadfruit (a flowering tree in the mulberry and jackfruit family), we can also add the exhilarating purity and freshness, amazing complexity for a wine priced anywhere near this, and a long, racy, minty, wonderful finish that really sticks to your palate --- just really quite astounding. This is a very fine buy at $30...at $15 it is, well, a super-studly buy.

1+1=3 (One Plus One Makes Three) started its business activity in Masía Navinès, located in Guardiola de Font Rubí, in the year 2000. The founders Josep Anton Bonell and the oenologist Josep Piñol already had a great experience in the wine world, but starting the company meant a new beginning for our cellar in Alt Penedès. The name 1+1=3 is about driving the company to be something more than just 2, by making the client be an active part of it.Our commitment with our land and the love for our vines is the origin of our philosophy. The passion for our job, the recognition of our products and our customers satisfaction have allowed 1+1=3 to spread the wine culture and find a space in this sector.
