Champagne Antoine Derigny Brut Grand Cru NV - Last Bottle

Champagne Antoine Derigny Brut Grand Cru NV

“I could not live without Champagne. In victory I deserve it, in defeat I need it.” – Winston Churchill

Think of your favorite actor's voice and say these words slowly, with feeling: “$29 Grand Cru Champagne.” Good God, that’s satisfying. But it IS fleeting…will disappear!

At over 50% OFF retail (welcome to this wonderful world), this is a supermassive mega-no-brainer for ALL THE TIME. Cooling, rich, and skin-tingling. It’s toasty/citrusy brilliance, and with 5 years on the lees (the yeast sediment), there is a toasty breadbasket of titillating flavors --  sweet bread dough, toasty croissant, butter cookie, candied lemon, crisp Asian pear...fresh, pure, and immensely satisfying.

This bottling mainly comes from the family’s Grand Cru vineyard holdings in the coveted Le Mesnil-sur Oger area of Champagne, and is basically a Blanc de Blancs, being 100% chardonnay, which we happen to love, too! It is more than 50% from the 2008 vintage (yes, wow), blended with 2011 and 2012, in at a zippy 6g dosage (that was for all of you who email with these detailed questions). Hitting ALL the sexy bubbly buttons on this fine Saturday (over 100 in Napa…), oh yes! What a price!! For Grand Cru!? C’mon!!

Not a lot to go around, unfortunately --- gotta put some in the wine rack or cellar TODAY! While it lasts..!
