This is a total “insider” wine -- it is made by the Meyer family, a name with amazing history and truly, LEGACY, in the Napa Valley and beyond --- Those who have some knowledge of this winemaking family will recognize Justin Meyer...co-founder of SILVER OAK fame (and winemaker at Christian Brothers before that). Most folks DON'T know the family (sons) have a property in the Yorkville Highlands of northern CA and make a wickedly delicious Syrah from this up-and-coming winegrowing region. Simply amazing price today...2012 is a terrific vintage too and drinking brilliantly NOW or over the next few years!

This is SEXY, powerful Syrah from the cool hillsides of Yorkville. Big stuff, for sure (not for the meek) but the structure and tannins are round and soft and it just ROCKS OUT the boysenberry, huckleberry, wild blackberry fruit, all warm and luscious, with a bit of baking spices, plum jam and earthy notes. Long and pure and noble and absolutely drop-dead no-brainer-ness for our price. Just amazing!! DO NOT miss this treat!! Wow!
