Estee Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville Napa Valley 2015 - Last Bottle

Estee Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville Napa Valley 2015

Woohoo! So long 2019 Coombsville...HELLO, 2015!! This is a fun one – perfectly aged and drinking like a dream! Made by the one and only Yannick Rousseau, the 2015 is hedonistically rich, with a structure and imposing facade so prototypical of the best 2015 cabs...just plump and stuffed like your favorite holiday turducken! Plums and hoisin sauce, blackberry coulis, creme de cassis! Oh, YEAH! Throw in a bit of fig marmalade, with some spicy bay and a whisper of earthy tar...this is making me hungry! 5% merlot in this vintage, with 75% new french oak...just a classically layered beauty through and through! Not much to be had, but definitely one of my personal favorites of the lot!

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from fruit sourced from the Coombsville appellation in the Napa Valley. We enlisted the help of Yannick Rousseau to make this wine for us. Yannick was born and raised in France where he received a degree in Enology.  He came to the Napa Valley and eventually opened his own winery where he produces many different types of wines including Cabernet Sauvignon.  He was excited at the prospect of working with us and was very happy with our vineyard and it's fruit.

The 2015 was barrel fermented in 75% new oak for 24 months.  It is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot.  The wine has soft tannins, fruity, and is ready to drink now and for many years to come.

About The Producer

The name “Estee” can be defined as a beautiful woman with lots of talents and attributes. She is sexy, creative, attractive, and hot, and has a good sense of style. When people interact with her, they fall instantly in love with her poise and friendly demeanor. Staring into her eyes makes time stop. “Estee” is a derivative of Esther, the biblical queen who married King Ahasuerus. He was enamored with her poise and beauty. Esther’s name comes from the Old Persian and Babylonian name “Ishtar,” the Goddess of Love, a Star of Venus. Estee perfectly describes our wine: a beautiful, soft, velvety wine with complex poise and graceful, elegant attributes. Our wine will leave you feeling like you have been smitten by the Goddess of Love. When you take a sip, it makes time stop and leaves you wanting more.
