Miura Vineyards Pinot Noir Talley Vineyard Arroyo Grande Valley 2009

WOW! Well, THAT was a crazy couple of days!!! THANK YOU and we hope we didn't cause too much carpal tunnel on the index fingers from all that refreshing!!

We are working double shifts to get all your stuff packed, but in the meantime we didn't stop uncovering rockstar deals, no way!! The show must go on, and we found a jaw-dropping deal on a classic -- Miura's uber high-end pinot from arguably one of the finest pinot noir vineyards in California --- TALLEY! At nearly 50% OFF, this is a SERIOUS wine for those who take their pinot seriously. Big structure, but lithe and light-feeling on the palate, with TONS of FLAVOR --- bright red fruits, cinnamon, clove, cranberry, sweet cherry, pomegranate, and a nice, interesting truffle-y note. Drinking perfectly right now, this is one to drink over a great meal. BUT....we didn't get much to go around! From Emmanuel Kemiji, one of America's earliest Master Sommeliers, and longtime Wine Director at the Ritz Carlton, among others, and made by Byron Kosuge (formerly of Saintsbury). Like we said, serious stuff! But you gotta move quick.
