Massimo Rivetti Via Rivetti 22 Langhe Rosato 2022 - Last Bottle

Massimo Rivetti Via Rivetti 22 Langhe Rosato 2022

Rivetti’s immaculate rosé – or rather, rosato…it is Italian, after all. 50% OFF! The stark-raving mad price of just $15!!! 100% organic pinot noir – OK, pinot nero – but, DANG!!! Go get some, y’all!

Anyone who’s EVER tried any of the RIVETTI Langhe and Barbaresco wines we import, and especially any of y’all that snagged the last vintage of this SPECTACULAR rosato already KNOWS how amazing they are...but this...well...THIS manages to be amazing and crazier than a Canadian $1 coin!!! Not nebbiolo or barbera or dolcetto – which is more typical for the region – pinot noir! FOR ONLY $15!!! Fantastically complex, intense, bone dry, and thrilling to drink – truly wine geeky rosato any way you slice it. No “saigne” bleeding off a tank here… ORGANIC grapes grown and picked just for this epic wine ONLY! But hey, you don’t have to be a student of unusual Italian wines to love, love, LOVE it as much as we do.

Strawberries! Essence of watermelon rind! blood orange zest, the barest whiff of rose petal and raspberry, – loaded with fresh, piquant acidity, ultra-snappy, and happy-making. ELECTRIC! Lighter extraction than the 2021 meaning this is uber-fresh and searingly bright…all the better, we say! Hmmm, ok, what else, REALLY, do you need to know? This is everything you want, all day long – especially in the ungodly, surface-of-the-sun, sole-melting, and soul-crushing HEAT! Doctor’s orders – one glass of this to put a little pep back into your step! Heck, at this price, better polish off the bottle just to be safe. $15 is a spectacular price… WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! Sunday Funday, indeed!!! Who wants fish tacos?

** In celebration of Napa Valley cracking the 100-degree mark TWICE this past week, I have spent the entire weekend either indoors directly underneath my A/C vent, or poolside at my gym…and irregardless of which – you can be certain I have a chilled bottle of this within reach (and a backup chillin’ in the fridge). **

Via Rivetti is the road that runs through our vineyards and gives its name to this fruity wine. It is harvested in the coolest hours of the day, using dry ice to preserve grape characteristics and obtain a nice and simple glass of wine that can be consumed daily.

About The Producer

Massimo Rivetti Family Farm with its 25 hectares, cultivated under the organic certification, grows both traditional and international grapes. The annual production is around 100.000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba. All the fields are grouped around three farm houses: Froi, Garassino and Palazzina. Inside the first one, situated into the village of Neive, there is the winery which is built on Serraboella hill, one of the most important for the production of Barbaresco.
