Who’s ready for a Down Under WONDER?!?! 95 POINTS, nearly 60% OFF, and ready to blow your hair back with classic shiraz/syrah flavors – at a price that can scarcely be believed!!!

Good thing Last Bottle’s chief pencil pusher is on vacation…how else can you explain this MONSTROUS deal?! All the way down to a scintillating FIFTEEN AMERICAN DOLLARS here today!!! I mean, C’MON! I just KNOW we have a hit with this baddie – ‘cause no less than seven Last Bottle employees have already burst into my office to ask, "How much is that wine for US!?”, immediately followed by some iteration of “Man, that stuff is killer!" The people have spoken, Jake Sully.

Critics, too! 95 POINTS from Wine Enthusiast – this wonderful shiraz (the best I have tasted in some time) will impress the HECK out of you, we promise. Even the review nails it: "This terroir-expressive Shiraz embodies elegance and restraint…a perfumed, Northern-Rhône-reminiscent nose…equally attractive on the nose as it is on the palate." YEP! Violets, and peonies, smoky, streaky bacon, black plums, blueberry pie, black pepper, with the faintest whiff of eucalyptus…woo hoo!! Seriously, we were so impressed at the overt quality of this shiraz, it was hard to wrap our heads around it, as it could easily be in the $40-$60 range, to our palates. So our price is straight fire, anyway you slice it! Surprisingly balanced and finesse-filled on the palate, and just fresh, and complex, and delicious!! THE PRICE! While it lasts...!

**  It’s Friday, good people! I’m lucky enough to spend the day at the local course, swinging the wrenches for charity! Been a couple years, and I promise, I’m most certainly the weak link in our scramble, but my short game used to be deadly…here’s hoping I find it in time! **

“This terroir-expressive Shiraz embodies elegance and restraint. Deep purple in color, the wine delivers a perfumed, Northern-Rhône-reminiscent nose of dried violet blossom, blackberry, black cherry, cassis, black raspberry and rhubarb. On the palate the dry, full-bodied Shiraz has a somewhat creamy texture, with supple tannin completing with a long finish. This Shiraz is equally attractive on the nose as it is on the palate.”

100 acres of undulating vineyard lands, where sandy soils sit atop a bed of limestone just over 40 inches below. The ancient sea floor minerality, combined with the quick draining soils produces concentrated and high expressive aromas where shiraz can thrive.
