!! (eye-popping emoji)

Man, THAT was some marathon madness. Phew! Could it get even more hysterical around here?? Are you kidding? We LIVE for it, we THRIVE on it -- the wine-slinging madness courses through our veins like ice-cold Chardonnay!!! No exception today -- wow!

DROP what you’re doing if you love outrageous deals on blockbuster red blends --- this is FRANTICALLY urgent as there’s so little...anyway, too many reasons to grab this -- we’ll resort to bullet points!!!

  • AARON POTT! He of Blackbird, POTT, Seven Stones and many more high-end, much-coveted wines! We didn’t even KNOW about this little gem until last week!

  • The smash-hit 2016 vintage. So lush, so structured.

  • Cab Franc, Zinfandel (from 120 yr. old vines!) and Syrah from the Del Barba vineyard, farmed since the early 1900s in Oakley, CA.

  • This wine is flat-out delish --- juicy, succulent, round and scarily drinkable. Raspberry coulis, sweet herbs, baking spices…

  • Last and certainly not least...YOU SAW THAT PRICE???! 60% OFF! Foolishness!

Owned by Joseph Carr who has been collaborating with Aaron for some years, it’s some kind of miracle we managed to get a few cases..especially priced like THIS! So we STRONGLY, emphatically compel you to LOAD up -- you just don’t see Aaron Pott wines priced anything like this! Delicious, warm, happy-making wine --- while it lasts, that is! Have a great weekend!

The classic heirloom field blend comes from old vines, some over 100 years. Dark embracing fruit followed by hints of raspberry, sage and smoke.

About The Producer

The vineyards have been farmed by the Del Barba Family since the early 1900s. All vines are head pruned and dry farmed/minimally irrigated and planted on Oakley Sand. Many parts of the vineyard are old plantings registered by the California Historic Vineyard Society as ancient vines with other parts replanted in the 60s and 70s. The Family follows a very traditional and non-intensive Farming principle in the vineyard that respects lower yields and pushes for structured and complex taste. Many esteemed wineries and winemakers have made world class Zinfandel of these grapes over the past decades and continue doing so today.
