Gary Farrell Zinfandel Grist Vineyard Dry Creek Valley 2015

ACCOUNTANTS DON’T LIKE SHORT MONTHS!

Did you know? The second king of Rome, Numa Pompilius, decided to make the calendar more accurate by syncing it up with the actual lunar year—which is about 354 days long. But if you’re our accountant...well, suffice it to say we had too many wines planned out to fit (we suck at math) so we’re going to…..

BLOW THEM OUT TODAY!!! Mini-Marathon! SIX (OR MORE????) PLANET-SMASHING, MELON-TWISTING OFFERS TODAY! Let’s get to it, shall we??

How about Gary Farrell single-vineyard Grist Zinfandel at a whopping 50% OFF  to get the juices flowing? From the killer 2015 vintage? Oh, HELL yes!

We LOVE good Zin, and this amazing vineyard (planted in 1974) was made a celebrity by Turley, although it has been a source for many great Zins over the years. Now Gary Farrell’s version has grabbed us by the nose and proceeded to rock our world, without harshing our mellow, either. So much warm berry compote, mint and dark chocolate flavors, but it’s not heavy or thick-feeling -- tons of freshness and spicy length. Round and crazily drinkable and satisfying. What a PRICE! This one will go mighty quick -- not much!

The standard bearer of Russian River Valley may be known for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but if you're on the mailing list or have been to their beautiful tasting room, you know all about their zin.
