Castiglion del Bosco Dainero Toscana 2015
Turn us over…we’re done. Wow! 93-POINT “Super-Tuscan” for $17??? How, we ask you, HOW…?
If you EVER get a chance to visit the Brunello region, GO VISIT this place. Castiglion Del Bosco is a LEGENDARY property. Astounding. Owned by Massimo Ferragamo (yup, THAT one), the estate has a deep history dating back some 400+ years and it was one of the founding members of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino 25 years ago. It is truly a mind-blowing spot on this Earth, but hey, we are here to talk WINE. And what a wine!
Dark, intense and popping with intriguing blue fruits and roasted nuts, it’s a serious wine from a terrific vintage and it JUST hit our warehouse, hoorah hoorah! Lush and round, with a hint of earth and mocha, it satisfies all your basic cravings for Tuscan deliciousness! Did we mention 93 POINTS??! While it lasts…Have a killer weekend!
