Cantagallo Chianti Montalbano 2017 - Last Bottle

Cantagallo Chianti Montalbano 2017

FORZA ITALIA!!

You need a hug. And pizza. And the best, most kick-ass bottle of Tuscan love to drink with it that we have probably ever seen at anything like this stupendous price  --- hot off the press and in our chilly warehouse, direct from Chianti!! 2017 is a small but excellent vintage!

$12. It’s crazy. Savvy Tuscan red enthusiasts already know what an incredible QPR (quality/price ratio) Chianti is these days, but at the price we get for bringing it in directly, it is simply BREATHTAKING. You need to throw a case of this in the cart for anytime, all-time, no-time-like-the-present drinking! And pizza. You need pizza. Stromboli, at the very least. Right??

Liquid cherry. That’s what we’re talking about. Rose petals, crushed flowers, a savory, awesome clove spice note, delicate in the mouth but so much flavor. This is the kind of thing that gets emptied in record time, and you know what?? NO BIGGIE! This is $12!! Astounding! But it WILL go fast...please grab it while we got it!

The 2017 Montalbano comes from vines with an average age of 15 years and is ruby red with vivid reflections. The nose is fruity, fresh, floral and fine. On the palette it is quite a soft entry with good volume, delicate mineral and a fruity final sensation.
