Domaine Besson Vaudesir Chablis Grand Cru 2015 - Last Bottle

Domaine Besson Vaudesir Chablis Grand Cru 2015

No, no, this can’t be true. 93-point Grand Cru 2015 Chablis under $40??? It just doesn’t happen. But you are in the upside-down world of Last Bottle, where we spin magic and magical pricing together with ease. WOW! If you love world-class Chardonnay from one of the greatest places on this planet to grow it…well, just do it quick…! Very little today to go around! Wow again!

Besson is a winery that just gets better year after year since we discovered them. 40 year-old vines produce wines that the legendary reviewer Clive Coates called: “...splendidly pure and minerally... (and) .... the quality is usually impressive." Vaudesir is one of the great Grand Cru vineyards of Chablis, and in Besson’s hands in a fantastic, round, generous vintage like 2015, it will ROCK your palate and wine-loving taste buds. Think yellow plums, exotic, pure, baskets-full of laser-focused citrus, all in a rich, round, mouth-coating texture that is perfectly balanced with killer, racy freshness. SO GOOD! This price is just…silly!! Please grab a few today --- you’ll thank us later!!

The Vaudesir from Besson is pale yellow with golden tints. It is complex, with a harmonious blend of flowers, bitterness and minerality.

Today his grandson, Alain, owns the Domaine. Alain’s daughter Camille received her diploma of oenology in 2013 and leads their winemaking efforts, while her brother Adrien takes care of everything in the vineyards.
